EMISSION

Buses and diesel vehicles need to be checked for the amount of emissions. Some devices measure the emissions. A benchmark also needs to be set on the permitted amount of emissions.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Samoa is ranked third in the Pacific Infrastructure Ranking report. The report stated that Samoa’s infrastructure is well maintained.

STREETLIGHTS

Solar streetlights would be the way to go for the power company to save money. A tender has been issued for the supply of such street lights. 

NO WORK

Tenders for the construction of road infrastructure were issued last year, but there has been no progress on any of them. This includes a bridge in Moamoa.

PROMISES

A world leader during his election campaign said there would be no more wars and bring all soldiers home. Just last week, he started a war in Middle East.

ESTIMATES

The government estimates that the national carrier will make close to half a million tala every month once the new planes are bought. That maybe true, but what about things like landing costs, operational costs and taxes.
