After having two days off for CHOGM, civil servants will have half a day on Friday for Public Service Day. It is rumoured some are throwing office parties. Don’t be surprised some offices could be closed all day.

UNSAFE

A van was spotted along the busy highway during the afternoon with its back door open. While it is unsafe for the people sitting in the back, thought needs to be given to proper ventilation.

ULAFALA

Most New Zealand MPs on Wednesday displayed the essence of Samoan culture. Pictures from the Beehive show many wearing ulafala.

WARNING

Take heed of the weather. Strong currents and high waves have been predicted. It would be foolish to go out to sea in small boats during this time.
