It appears rubbish contractors in Apia are being overwhelmed by the large waste output, even the dogs are having a field day. More people on the island? 

SIRENS

Who in their right mind would sell ambulance siren gadgets to bicycle owners? The sirens produced by bicycle riders in Apia’s suburbs are a nuisance to the ears.

LIGHTS

Some years back a top cop also wanted to outlaw vehicle owners from using spotlights and neon lights due to safety concerns. The attempt was unsuccessful.

COSTLY

Samoan athletes are shocked at the high cost of data in Honiara. According to studies, telecom costs in the Solomons are some of the world’s highest. 

LOANS

Are loan officers getting too big in the head? One at a local bank even accessed a client’s file at the request of the client’s workmate! Unprofessional. 

FISHY

The word is fish is so expensive in Apia’s markets. But fish vendors cannot find customers so prices have dropped. Best time to abandon red meat.
