Nuuausala College dominated Zone D at Apia Park after they snatched three divisions out of six on Friday. They won the Senior Girl's Division, Junior Boys, and Intermediate Boys.

Zone D consists of nine schools, however, only eight competed on Friday as Safata College is also banned from sports following their hand in a brawl.

The schools that competed were Sagaga College, Nuuausala College, Leulumoega Fou College, Wesley College, Pope Paul VI College, Aana 1 College, Aana 2 College, and Lefaga College.

An athlete from Leulumoega Fou College, Tauti'aga Sofeni who represented his school in the 800m and 1500m said he was very proud of his school despite him not winning his events.

"I came sixth in the 800m and 10th in the 1500m. It wasn't the best result but I did try my best. My school so far is doing very well," he said.

"I am competing in the Intermediate division. Athletics is one of the things I look forward to every year, and now there would be no Champs of Champs, so this will be it for us."

Apia Park Stadium was packed with more people on Friday compared to the crowd at Zone A and Zone B. Zone D had participation from more schools than any other zone.

The results are as follows:

Junior Girls - 1. Wesley College 2. Leulumoega-Fou College 3. Nuuausala College.

Intermediate Girls - 1. Aana 2 College 2. Nuuausala College and Lefaga College (equal).

Senior Girls - 1. Nuuausala College 2. Aana 2 College 3. Sagaga College.

Junior Boys - 1. Nuuausala College 2. Wesley College 3. Leulumoega Fou College.
