The Minister of Finance, Mulipola Anarosa Ale Molioʻo, has warned that a fake Facebook page was created in her name and asked people to report it to the authorities.

On her official Facebook page, “Anarosa Molioo,” Mulipola posted Monday, 16 March, that she was aware of the fake Facebook account.

“I am aware that some faceless people have created a fake page using my name and likeness.”

“I want to make it very clear that your actions are both unethical and illegal. Impersonating someone online is a serious violation of trust and privacy, and it will not be tolerated,” she wrote.

She urged her followers to take action against the fake account, adding, “Block them and throw them in the trash bin, please.”

The impersonator’s identity is still unknown.
