Legal action could be looming for Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata'afa's decision to sack 13 former Associate Ministers as indicated by two who claimed to be happy with their decisions to sign the petition for the expulsion of Fiame from the Fa'atuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi Party.

Member of Parliament for Lefaga and Falease'ela and former Associate Minister of Customs, Masinalupe Makesi Masinalupe confirmed that this matter will be taken to court for clarifications.

"The Prime Minister Fiame has to understand that we still have the numbers to make our party stable and she also has to remember that it was the Fa'atuatua i le Atua Samoa Party, meaning us that put her there as the Prime Minister," Masinalupe said.

"So all I can say is that we are happy with our decision to expel Fiame from our party and we will take legal action against her decision to fire us from our associate ministerial posts," he added.

He said what saddened them is that they all have parliamentary committees they chaired but now it's affected because Fiame decided to dismiss them from their posts.

"It is just not right and we will make it right through legal actions at court," he said.

Ale Vena Ale, Member of Parliament for Faleata No.4. and also former Associate Minister for Customs said he was happy with the way politics is at the moment.

"I am happy with how politics is now and I don't regret my decision to sign the expulsion of Prime Minister Fiame from the FAST Party," he said.

"I was deciding on what I believe is best for our party, the FAST Party and I am happy with how things are now," he added.

The former Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Auapa'au Mulipola Aloitafua said he could not comment on the issue because it was only the party chairman La'auli Leuatea Polataivao Fosi who has a say about this issue.
