Manu Samoa named for Fiji clash
Manu Samoa head coach Vaovasamanaia Seilala Mapusua has named a changed side for the clash against the Flying Fijians this weekend at Apia Park.
Vaovasamanaia has named three debutants in his 22-man squad as England based Steven Luatua gets the nod to start at the blindside flank donning the number six jersey.
Jordan Lay, Ray Niuia and Paul Alo-Emile make up the front row with Chris Vui and Taleni Seu at locks.
Luatua is joined by Jack Lam on the flanks with captain Fritz Lee at number eight.
Ereatara Enari starts as the halfback while the experienced Christian Lealiifano will once again don the 10 jumper.
Tumua Manu and Nigel Ah-Wong are on the wings, blindside and openside respectively while Duncan Paia’aua and Stacey Ili make up the centres. At fullback is Danny Toala.
Sama Malolo and Titilamositele get their debut from the bench. They are joined by Charlie Faumuina, Brian Alainu’uese, Genesis Mamea-Lemalu, Melani Matavo, Alai D’Angelo Leuila and Ed Fidow.
