ELECTRIC

There were 70 electric cars brought under CAP-IT project. It would be interesting to see where they are being used. Some are worth close to half a million tala.

HIGH TIDE

This Monday will have the highest tide of the year, according to the Samoa Meteorology Office. This will be during the morning. Roads near the sea could have seawater on them.

OLD STOCK

A man was dismayed when a light bulb he purchased from the neighbourhood shop lasted merely five minutes. The shopkeeper told him that it could be old stock.

TORNADO

A little twister or a mini tornado was sighted at the Fugalei Bus Stand on Saturday. The changing climate is bringing in strange weather occurrences.

BLIND SPOTS

There is a need to trim the hedges next to junctions on the road. Some are overgrown and create a blind spot. Some junctions are accidents waiting to happen.

BAD FOOD

Food sellers at the market need to be inspected as usual. Some have been guilty of selling food that goes bad or is not properly cooked and then refusing to take it back.
