GOVT VEHICLES

The government seems to be either rich or very lavish. It seems a cabinet minister and his wife have been given a government vehicle each. Other ministers’ spouses are waiting.

SPLASHING

Some people vying for a seat in parliament in the next polls have already started splashing cash around. People have to follow tradition.

TAPE

A recent crime scene where a brutal murder took place could not be properly cordoned off. Someone had forgotten to bring the yellow tape.

UNIFORM

A new supplier for police uniforms must be looked at. There is variation in the blue as some are fading. These uniforms do not seem to be able to withstand a good old hand scrub.

SAFETY FIRST

Safety must be prioritised even when celebrating. Children overloaded in trucks and minivans with open boots are not a safe way to celebrate. It takes seconds for celebration to turn into mourning.

BE CAREFUL

A family was astounded as a stranger walked into their compound at 5 am asking for water. His dubious intent became clear when he asked how many people lived in the home.
