Between the Lines

SURPRISE

People were not expecting the power outage that took place Tuesday evening. People thought that with the rented generators installed, there would be no more outages.

TURTLES

In a neighbouring Pacific country, villages near the coast where turtles breed were given cattle to farm. This has become a better alternative to harvesting turtles.

TREES

People are wondering where the power company and the environment ministry have replanted the trees taken down in Faleata. Some were just 25 years old.

TIME

Time sure does fly. For some, it flies so fast they add an extra year to their child. It could be the time, then again we can blame the power outage.

FISH

This is getting out of hand. Turtles are endangered and the fish are heading in the same direction if the catch of undersized ones is not stopped.

REPORT

The new sporting body president returns this Friday after a great performance from his sports team in Australia. Maybe then he could tell us why there were no audited reports at the SASNOC AGM.
