Between the Lines
SIGHTING
There has been no sighting of a top government bureaucrat at the office following her suspension to explain her performance. No government announcements have been made as well.
FUNDING
A religious body that has vowed to pay its loan by the end of the year. Hopefully, the flock will not be asked to dish out the money from their pockets.
SHIPS
Now that NZ has cleared the diesel from their sunken ship, does our government have any plans to salvage the ships that burnt at the Salelologa Wharf?
FITNESS TEST
The disciplined force should have a required fitness level. Everyone including those in the top brass needs to be tested every six months and passing a fitness test should be required for promotions.
DANGEROUS
A black Toyota Landcruiser almost bumped students on the side of the road in Vaigaga when it made a sudden U-turn. It also avoided hitting other cars and then turned right even when the traffic light was red.
GROWTH
Economic growth in the Pacific is projected to moderate to 3.9 per cent in 2025 and 3.6 per cent in 2026. Hopefully, the nation’s strategies are in line to achieve this.
