DISAGREEMENT

A taxi driver was almost assaulted by his passenger after a disagreement over fare. There is a need to standardise the fares and have it published or introduce taxi metres.

TRAFFIC

The traffic on Saturday night in the town area and Vaimoso was caused by celebrations of Vaimoso winning the shield challenge. Some in a rush were left frustrated.

GUN

The gun-wielding fiend is still at large. This would be the third public incident where the man has used or threatened to use the gun in public.

UNDERSIZE

The fisheries people need to do checks on the weekend. Government offices may be closed over the weekend but this is when most fish are sold and many are still below the required size.

COACH

Just two months away from the test match against Scotland and still no word on who will be coaching the national side. What seems to be the holdup?

DROP OFF

First, it was buses, now it's taxis. Public service vehicles or not, you cannot stop on the highway because your passenger refuses to walk a few metres from the safe drop zone.
