WAR OF WORDS

Kiwis and Samoans are at war on social media after the sinking of the ship. Samoans blamed the Kiwis for environmental damage while the Kiwis are suggesting pulling out aid money.

HEAD COUNT

Five cabinet ministers were noticed after a head count in a video of their party’s ‘celebrations’ in Australia. The PM was back on Tuesday. Her plate is full with the CHOGM and the ship.

PARTY

Whatever the red party can do, so can the blue party. This was evident with pictures of the opposition party’s celebration abroad as well.

STONES

Whoever thought putting stones for kilometres across the narrow Cross Island Road was a good idea needs a head check. Oncoming cars are almost touch each other on the road.

MANGOES

Mango season is upon us. Soon they will be up for sale on roadsides. Let’s hope the prices for local mangoes are not competing with the prices of imported fruits.

PORTS CLOSE

It is just one and a half weeks for the government to shut down the big port in Apia. Let’s pray that the suppliers and supermarkets have ordered food for all people including locals in adequate supply.
