No sign of any road work on the damaged Fugalei Road. The potholes are getting bigger. The contracted companies could be waiting for the cabinet ministers to return.

The first thing to do before patching up the Fugalei potholes is to ensure the road is dry. The blocked waterway is causing flooding and damaging the road.

ANTHEM

Among the matters that have not been clarified is the correct version of the national anthem. Now that the top officials are back in the country, there should be some clarity on this.

THE GAME

There is still no word on how people can watch the Oceania Sevens Championship. Samoa men and women will be in action this weekend and people have no idea where to watch the games.

DOGS

A group of women were spotted taking an afternoon walk as a form of exercise. They were walking in pairs and threes, all armed with sticks or golf clubs. Beware those neighbourhood dogs.
