CARTING RUBBISH

A young man found that carrying garbage bags of rubbish on the back of a pickup is not a smart idea if they are not tied down. Good on him to reverse and pick up the splattered rubbish from the road.

BRAWLS

School brawls are happening again. One happened at the bus stand in Savalalo last week.  It involved a prominent boys’ school. Students invaded a bus for the fight.

RUGBY FIGHT

Ironically, all teams that started fights at the rugby tournament over the weekend were eliminated. There needs to be an emphasis on sportsmanship and avoiding fights. It is not a good example.

BAIL CONDITIONS

One of the defendants in a high-profile conspiracy case has been accessing social media and posting videos. Hopefully, she is not violating her bail conditions.

PLANE

An airforce plane was spotted flying low on Saturday over Apia. Good to see inter-regional cooperation in maintaining a safe and secure Pacific.

MAROON

A lot of maroon shirts were spotted around town and the drinking holes. There are also reports of wives coming to look for missing husbands.
