Between the Lines
VAPE
Vaping harms as much as smoking a cigarette. Teenagers have been spotted in different locations puffing away. Might as well give them a cigarette.
TV SHOW
Three weeks have passed since the new year began. Have the new executives of a church-run TV station cancelled a talk segment where a politician was always the preferred guest? No screening seen yet.
SPOTTED
The owner of a local news company was spotted in the pictures put up by a political which held its caucus meeting on the weekend. Great way to show neutrality.
BLOCKED
A Samoan living in Australia is wondering why he has been blocked from the Government of Samoa's Facebook page. The church minister is wondering if the administrator has a personal agenda.
COLOUR BLIND
Size does matter, at least on the roads of Samoa. A truck ran a red light in Vailoa only to make a stop 100 metres away. Other vehicles that had a green light had to give way. Or the driver was colour blind.
BORROWED
Was a high-ranking government official told to refund the public money that he ‘borrowed’ for personal use? If so, in any other jurisdiction, the return of money is accompanied by legal implications.
