The red political party held its first meeting of the year at a government-owned facility instead of its party office. Let’s hope that the meeting venue was paid for as this was not a government meeting.

LOCKED OUT

One of Samoa’s top rugby clubs has had to find another ground and no longer has a clubhouse. They were locked out of their so-called home ground after failing to pay rent. This calls for an audit.

JUVENILE

There is concern that juveniles who are committing crimes cannot be detained as a facility to do so does not exist in the country. Records show that most juveniles go on to re-offend.

SIDE-STEPS

Cabinet ministers who attended their party meeting on Saturday hurried to their cars when they caught sight of two journalists walking their way. Talking to the media is talking to the public.
