Between the Lines
TWO SAMOAS
Maritime police better be on the lookout as the two Samoa talks start in Savaii this week with eyes on the ocean should there be another pleasure boat bringing people. But not to worry, all giving approvals will be at the meet.
PLEASURE PLANE
It is believed that the owner of the questionable pleasure boat also owns a plane in Pago. If delegates do use this plane to come here, paperwork should not be an issue.
DOUBLE STANDARDS
A Samoan trapped in a warzone refused to give an interview saying they will not talk to the media. Meanwhile, the person has been doing live videos from where they are stuck. Talk about double standards.
SAFE TRAVELS
Travellers between Savaii and Upolu were happy with the extra trips by the ferries and appreciated the safety on board but then again its business and holidays mean money.
ON THE FLOOR
One of the visiting weightlifting teams had athletes sleeping on the floor while the administrators were booked into hotel rooms. Only Samoa does it right when it comes to the lifters.
GROWING TEETH
Scientists in Japan are working on something that will help grow teeth in adults again. Not too many dentists are happy but many in Samoa would be.
