PITCH INVADER

Wonder what the security officials were doing when a drunken man strolled into the pitch and performed a shameful version of the Siva Tau as Manu Samoa faced the Flying Fijians at Apia Park on Saturday.

RUGBY DOGS

Still on pitch invaders. There were two times when officials from the rugby body came to chase dogs off the field. One even casually walked through as the match was in progress.

NOT RECOGNISED

The FIFA boss and his delegation enjoyed a friendly match at the football fields. Among them was Italian great Alessandro Del Piero whom many locals did not recognise even staff at the football body did not know his name.

FATHER’S DAY

Father’s Day is around the corner. While fathers across Samoa will be celebrated many are worried that they will be digging into their own pockets for a day designed for them.

GENDER EQUALITY
