CASH DIVIDEND

There was so much uproar that the SNPF dividend was not paid out in cash. Funny enough, one of the ministers in the Government during his pre-election rally said it was robbery not to pay the dividend in cash.

LOAN AMOUNT

A cabinet minister wanted the Samoa Airways loan to be $4m less because the amount was allocated in the budget. The budget was just passed on Friday and the physical allocation is yet to be made.

ONE EYE OPEN

Security officers need security too. A fellow doing night shift at a warehouse had his bag stolen on Tuesday and then his phone on Thursday. Sleeping with one eye open should help.

RIGHT SIDE UP

Road side vendors are getting creative. A young boy held out a sign of what was being sold at his family stall to get the attention of cars along the Aleipata highway. It would help if the sign is not held upside down.

PLANT NAMES

A civil servant showed off his knowledge of local plants by telling students at a college what the names of some plants were. When an NGO official arrived and asked the names of the plants, the students repeated what they were told. The answers were wrong.

LEADERSHIP SKILLS

The PSC cartoon has made an uproar. All it wanted to do was show great leadership skills. Apparently it was posted by someone who is very senior in PSC.
