Public relieved, welcome S.N.P.F. payout
Soke Tumanuvao, 30, Falealili
"The payout is very useful for us, it is true that I haven't worked for long and not have a lot of money yet, but I think its good cause it can help with the families and the use of the internet to access our NPF account, especially for those who are working, its easier than having to go to them in person."
Sofine Chan Foung, 70, Saleiufi
"What NPF is doing to make the payout is pretty good. This is where you can get some help for our needs maybe next time they can increase the percentage to make it better for the people but yeah thank you NPF."
Tauuma Viiga, 67, Vaiala
"This is our money anyway but thank you NPF for increasing the percentage so right now I'm thankful and grateful for that. I'm still getting my blessings, I'm 67 and still paying my NPF and thankful for the pension where I'm also able to get more blessings. Everyone has received their blessings from NPF, this is our money going in and there are times and we are able to be blessed from this."
Loreta Aukuso Ah Ching, 44, Sinamoga
"Well for us who do not have phones, its hard to access the services online because when want to go and do our transactions, we can't due to having no proper phone. This is the only problem that we have right now, I prefer the old way where you turn up and do the form but now that its online, its hard for those with no phones but the the percentage is very good so this is the only obstacle we face."
Failagi ASiasi, 52, Vaitele-fou
"There is both a good side and a bad side to it. The percentage right now is a lot so when I go to do a loan from it I am able to withdraw a lot. If NPF calls it a gift then we should only receive it without having to payoff anything. I'll end up having to pay off my loans again after withdrawing from my own account. However, the positive side of it is that it can help with our small businesses and even for our children's school fees which is our priority.
