Missing man found, says Police

A 46-year-old man who went missing on Monday went to clear his head and has now been located by the Ministry of Police Prisons and Corrections Service.
The public servant and 46-year-old of Sinamoga, Laulu Tamati Fau was reportedly missing on Monday evening with the Police had put out a missing person notice.
The notice stated that Laulu left his family home early on Monday morning at around 8am in his maroon double cab Ford Ranger and hasn’t been seen since.
Police Commissioner, Auapaau Logoitino Filipo confirmed on Tuesday that the missing man has been found and added the man had told Police he went out to clear his head and has returned safely to his family.
A notice posted on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Police Prisons and Corrections Service confirmed the missing man being found at around 11am on Tuesday morning.
Th support of the public which led to the successful reunion of Laulu and his family was also acknowledged with concerned families and friends of Laulu posted supportive messages in light of his recent disappearance.
On a separate notice on Friday last week, a 14-year-old Victoria Tuala of Taufusi was also reported missing by the Police.
Police later issued another notice confirming the teenager had been found and was reunited with the family.
In November last year there had been an alarming increase in the number of people going missing across the country with the majority of them young children.
Some five people went missing at the time and were later found with the Police saying that it was a frightening trend, especially with young children involved.
Most of those children who went missing were found to have been with other relatives or had run away from home.
