Three F.B.I. officials in Samoa
Three United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) officials are in Samoa.
The unnamed officials are in the country to work with the local Police.
They are conducting an IT training with the Ministry of Police, which starts Monday.
To be held at Hotel Tanoa Tusitala Hotel, the training will be opened by the Minister of Communication and Information Technology (M.C.I.T.), Afamasaga Rico Tupa’i.
The presence of the F.B.I. officials in Samoa was confirmed by the U.S. Embassy in a note to the media.
According to information provided, the F.B.I. will work with I.T. professionals from the Police and other government ministries for four days.
The U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Tony Greubel will also speak at the training.
