Digicel pays $1.69M as dividend to SNPF
Digicel Samoa paid a dividend of $1,696,630 to the Samoa National Provident Fund (SNPF) for the financial year ending 31 March 2025.
The dividend reflects SNPF’s 20 per cent shareholding in Digicel Samoa through CSL Mobile Ltd.
The dividend will be returned to SNPF members through retirement savings and long-term national investment, ensuring that the value generated by Digicel Samoa continues to benefit the Samoan people.
The cheque presentation took place at Digicel Samoa’s headquarters. It was attended by Digicel Samoa directors Heseti Sione Vaai and Leota Kosimiki Latu, recognising the ongoing relationship between Digicel Samoa and SNPF.
Digicel Samoa CEO Karl Vizvary said the payment demonstrates the company’s commitment to shared economic value.
“This dividend reflects Digicel Samoa’s sound financial performance and our commitment to ensuring that the benefits of our success are shared with the Samoan people. Through SNPF, these returns directly support Samoan workers, retirees, and long-term national development.”
