Airport Authority rejects $280 tax claim; Observer releases emails

The Samoa Airport Authority (SAA) has rejected claims that travellers were charged more than $280 in airport levies, but emails released by the Samoa Observer show airlines had raised concerns, with one source familiar with the matter describing SAA General Manager Tumanuvao Evile Falefatu’s handling of the issue as “arrogant.”
