The reigning Miss Global, Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van, is set to visit Samoa for the crowning of Miss Global Samoa 2026 and help boost Samoa's international visibility.

Vodafone Samoa Chief Executive Officer Rana Bose said the company has proudly supported Miss Global and other international pageants in Samoa for many years, championing the incredible talent and spirit of Samoan women on the global stage.

“We are especially excited to welcome the reigning Miss Global, Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van, on her first visit to Samoa,” Bose said.

“This marks only the second time a Miss Global titleholder will visit Samoa, following Shane Tormes’ visit a few years ago. With over one million followers on Instagram, her visit will significantly boost Samoa’s international visibility by highlighting our culture, hospitality, and exceptional talent.”

Bose added that Vodafone Samoa is committed to empowering young Samoan women by providing platforms to develop leadership skills, cultural advocacy, and community engagement.

“Through our partnership with Manaia Events, we offer training, mentorship, and international exposure to ensure our representatives shine on the global stage while inspiring future generations,” Bose said.

During their first participation in the Miss Global, Hayali Kuruppu achieved first runner-up among more than 80 contestants globally, demonstrating that Samoan talent, given the opportunity, can excel and be celebrated on the world stage.
