Toelupe loses seat, by-election for Falealili No.1

Deputy Prime Minister Toelupe Poumulinuku has lost his seat and a by-election has been declared for Falealili No.1 by the Supreme Court on Tuesday morning.

The court delivered its ruling on the Falealili No.1 election petition and found that Toelupe had engaged in corrupt practices.

Toelupe is also the Minister for Works, Transport and Infrastructure.
