Atherton steps down as Samoa Conservation president

Afi’a James Atherton has stepped down as president of the Samoa Conservation Society (SCS), also known as Sosaiete Faasao o Samoa (SFS), ending a seven-year tenure that saw the organisation expand its conservation footprint, increase funding and strengthen village-based environmental initiatives.
