It was the children who made the most of the Christmas Parade organised by South Pacific Broadband Limited on Monday morning.

The Christmas in the Park parade started from Matautu and went to the Government Building.

The police band led the parade, followed by Santa in a red Coca-Cola t-shirt and an ie faitaga with black shades on a fire truck accompanied by his two elves and firefighters. A car show by the No Cash Car crew followed behind them with loud music to lighten up the Christmas spirit.

It was not a packed event, however all smiles and laughter from those who attended the event. The children were very happy collecting toy trucks and lollipops that were thrown down by Santa and his elves.

"I want cars because I love them," said Louis, one of the children who portrayed Santa's elf.

According to the organisers, this was one of the greatest ways to give back to the people supporting them for more than 40 years. It is an event hosted by Coca-Cola in partnership with the Samoa Tourism Authority, No Cash Car crew, and the Government of Samoa.

Santa Claus also wished Merry Christmas to the people of Samoa and he was very pleased to see the kids enjoying their parade and running to collect toys and lollies.

"Wishing all our families, friends, and everyone a merry Christmas and a peaceful new year."
