Ship on fire at Salelologa

Firefighters are currently battling what appears to be a major fire at the Salelologa Wharf in Savaii as a fishing ship berthed at the port is ablaze.
Samoa Fire and Emergency Services have rushed to the scene to help the Samoa Shipping Corporation staff.
Fire Commissioner Tanuvasa Petone Mauga confirmed the fire emergency and said he was monitoring the situation through radio as the team on Savaii is trying to save other ships and buildings.
There are 11 fishing boat belonging to a Chinese fishing company are tied together.
