In an inspiring encounter, Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata'afa hosted an exclusive breakfast for the 15 contestants vying for the coveted Miss Samoa crown.

Held at the luxurious Sheraton Hotel in Apia, this unique event provided the contestants invaluable opportunity to engage with the Prime Minister directly and gain insights into her remarkable journey and career.

The breakfast was more than just a meal; it was a platform for personal connection and empowerment.

Joining Prime Minister Fiame were the outgoing Miss Samoa, Moemoana Safaatoa Schwenke, and the Chair of Onomea Production, Leituala Kuiniselani Toelupe Tago.

During the gathering, Fiame shared candid reflections on her professional and personal life, shedding light on the challenges she faced and the strategies to overcome them.

Her story, filled with resilience and determination, resonated deeply with the contestants, offering them a glimpse into the life of a leader who has navigated a path of significant obstacles and achievements.

The contestants, hailing from diverse backgrounds and brimming with aspirations, were given the floor to share their own stories and dreams.

This exchange allowed them to articulate how they plan to leverage the Miss Samoa platform to make a positive impact in their communities. They also had the chance to pose questions to Fiame, seeking advice and inspiration from the nation's highest office.

Several contestants expressed their profound gratitude and admiration following the event.

"Meeting Prime Minister Fiame was truly humbling," said Miss JADs Samoa, Rayleen Simati.

"Her story of overcoming challenges and dedication to her work is incredibly inspiring. It’s an experience I will cherish forever."

Another contestant Miss Lavashe Couture, Alaimalo Sulusi Vasa shared, "We felt so honoured to be in her presence and to hear firsthand about her journey. Moments like these truly empower us to strive for greatness and use our platform for meaningful change."

The breakfast was orchestrated by Onomea Production, which has been instrumental in organising various key events leading up to the Miss Samoa pageant.

The contestants extended their heartfelt thanks to Onomea Production for facilitating this important engagement, which they deemed a highlight of their Miss Samoa journey.

In a gesture of continued support and encouragement, Prime Minister Fiame extended a special invitation to all 15 contestants to join her and her Cabinet members at their weekly meetings.

This invitation will see the contestants visit the Cabinet chamber on Wednesday before the Premiere night.

The Miss Samoa Premiere night, scheduled for Wednesday, will feature the first judged categories including sarong wear, introductions, puletasi, and coconut.
