The Piula Theological College compound was a place of great celebration on Saturday.

It was where graduates who achieved Diplomas in Theology and Bachelors of Divinity and Master of Theology celebrated sweet success with their families, friends and fellow church members.

A total of 21 graduates proudly marched down the aisle of Lupetaumafa Piula Hall to mark the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new one.

The graduation ceremony was presided over by Reverend Faulalo Leti Pa'aga, the President of the Methodist Church who offered heartfelt congratulations to the graduates for reaching this significant milestone.

He expressed gratitude to the parents, families, and villages of the graduates for their steadfast love, support, and prayers throughout the students' journeys.

Reverend Faulalo encouraged the graduates to remember that it was God's guidance that helped them complete their time at Piula. He reminded them that while one journey ends, it marks the beginning of a new chapter in their lives dedicated to God's ministry, highlighting that further challenges lie ahead.

He urged the graduates to remain faithful and humble, encouraging them to listen to the spirit of God for guidance through any difficulties they may encounter in the future.

The Principal of Piula Theological College, Reverend Professor Mosese Mailo spoke on behalf of the college to deliver a detailed report for the academic year 2024 which ended on Saturday.

He highlighted some of the achievements attained throughout the academic journey as well as the hurdles the college had to overcome.

Of the 21 that graduated, 16 graduated with Diplomas in Theology (level 6), three graduated with Bachelors of Divinity (level 7) and two graduated with Master of Theology (level 9).

The special ceremony also served as the college's prize-giving event for the remaining students at the theological college.

This significant occasion drew hundreds of families and friends from Samoa and overseas, all coming together in Piula to celebrate this momentous event.
