The mayor of Sinamoga is hopeful of the anticipated efforts that are in the works to help the community’s residents prevent an upsurge in crime from negatively impacting their means of life and restoring an ordinary and safe community.

Timuiaiala Paulo Papalii, the mayor of Sinamoga, stated in an interview that concepts and objectives have been discussed amongst village committee members in the hopes that they will bring a positive outlook and restore the community's peace and safety.

The residents of Sinamoga are growing increasingly concerned about the rising number of car accidents, thefts among several businesses, and instances of speeding on the road that connects Moamoa and Sinamoga.

The recent shooting of two young men by a reckless driver has further fueled their urgency to address the issues impacting its community.

The Sinamoga village is not a traditional village. Instead, it is overseen by a mayor and a committee comprised of religious leaders who collaborate to ensure the safety and well-being of its citizens.

According to the Timuiaiala, these thoughts and objectives will be discussed among the villagers during their church union, a custom that has been maintained for many years. They feel that this is the ideal opportunity to talk about and resolve issues impacting their community.

This will see a range of opinions and suggestions from every villager, substantially helpful to encourage each resident.

“Sinamoga residents are guided by the supervision of churches in the village," said Timuiaiala.

“We encourage families to carry out family home evenings as we believe it greatly impacts and contributes to the lives of the children and everyone."
