Papa Puilea sub-branch to help communities
BSP Samoa has opened a new sub-branch Papa Puleia in Savaii and says the bank continues to strengthen its presence and relationship in communities.
In a statement, BSP Samoa said the Papa Puleia sub-branch was opened on Friday 22 December 2023.
The newly established sub-branch is the third in the country, strategically positioned to service the vibrant community in Papa Puleia and neighbouring villages in Savaii.
“This newly established sub-branch will provide a range of banking services including teller services, MoneyGram disbursements and processing, as well as an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) for 24/7 access to our customers on the South coast of Savaii,” said BSP in a statement.
“The expansion reflects the unwavering commitment of BSP to recognizing the unique needs of the customers in Savaii communities. Bringing essential banking services closer to the customer’s doorsteps and fostering convenience and strong community connections.”
BSP Samoa holds the largest banking network in Samoa with three main branches, three sub-branches, 31 ATMs and over 300 active EFTPoS terminals.
Apart from being the biggest bank in Samoa, BSP Samoa has been actively involved in community work. This includes clean-up campaigns, bike drives, sponsorships of sporting events and other major events.
For Christmas, BSP Samoa donated funds to Carmelite Sisters.
