Bands arrive for Christmas Festival

Musical bands, The Jets and Bonafide have arrived in Samoa to perform for the Christmas Festival and Fashion Show which will be held on Wednesday 20 December at Gym 1 in Tuanaimato.

The two bands are so excited about their first trip to the island and are overwhelmed to perform in front of Samoans. They said they were feeling the love and enjoying the experience.


Katharine Wilson of The Jets expressed her gratitude to Virginia Toalepai for the great opportunity as well as her contribution to changing the lives of designers and artists in Samoa.

“We have been so excited to come to Samoa and we are thankful to Virginia because this is an opportunity that we never thought would happen," she said.

"What she does for the community., The love of fashion and the artists in general helps our families here on the island. It is so proud to see Samoa and all of the Polynesians on a different line.”


According to Ms. Toalepai, the founder of the Las Vegas Pacific Fashion Show Samoa Division and President and Chief Executive Officer of Worldwide Safety, local fashion fans, artists, and Samoans will find the festival on Wednesday very interesting and unique.

She also acknowledged Vodafone Samoa and Vailima Breweries for their support in making the event possible.

“We are so proud to be associated with Vodafone Samoa and Vailima Breweries which makes our families and friends Christmas celebration great.

“I would also like to thank my board members for their hard work to ensure that more designers, artists, and manufacturers can achieve market access.

"That is our purpose as a society to assist the big dreams of our designers and artists through my company and enterprises, Toalepai Production and Worldwide Safety.”
