The children of Lepea were all smiles on Saturday as they walked away with prizes and took part in games as part of Tradepac Samoa’s fun day program.

Tradepac Samoa celebrated White Sunday early with the Lepea community by hosting a fun day with lots of giveaway prizes as part of their company’s social responsibility.

Children stepped up to the podium and recited their memory verses to be awarded prizes prepared just for their participation.

Sales Manager for Tradepac Marketing, Shabneel Singh said the event was organised to celebrate with the children of Samoa on the eve of White Sunday.

“The event here today is more about giving back to the community and Tradepac has a deep connection with Samoa and this is a time for us to give back to our community,” he said. “There is a percentage of the income that we generate put aside for this event and that percentage we want to contribute to our general public.

"The kids of today are the future of tomorrow and we have come in partnership with Lepea Football Club, to celebrate this White Sunday and share the love with the children of Samoa.”

They have kept the total worth of goods distributed confidential and said that investing in the community is worth every penny and will be back again next year with bigger plans and bigger giveaways.

“We want to wish the kids of Samoa a very happy White Sunday and for them to pray hard, be safe and respect their elders. Study hard and be good to your neighbours.

"This is just the start and we are looking to do this in a bigger way next year and this will never stop as it is also showing our professional services to the general public through this activity and we want to take not just the company to the next level but also the brands.

"Tradepac is a subsidiary of the CJ Patel group in Fiji and has been given this opportunity to bless the community of Lepea through Tradepac Samoa. It has been a great pleasure working with the team here in Samoa."
