Thinking of those bribes

Re: Alcohol factory refutes claim

So Mr Fugen claims that P.U.M.A. and M.O.H. officials don’t like the smell too but they understand.

Since he’s admitting that he bribes people with gifts to keep them quiet and that a senior government official is his sole firewood supplier, I’m sure the villagers would have no chance of winning this fight.

The question is whether these officials are being instructed by we know who to turn a blind eye or they all agree to turn off their sense of smell as soon as Mr. Fugen dangles his gifts.

I can almost hear Mr Fugen telling them: “Don’t worry about the villagers you can drink and take any number of fagu maso cartons you want and here’s 100 tala each and make sure you write good report for me.”
