Samoa Stationery and Books has responded to calls from their customers living on the west side of Upolu by opening its eighth and newest store at the Faaso’otauloa Taulapapa Pati Investment building at Vaitele-tai.

The Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Tofilau Fiti Leung Wai, said the opening is part of the company’s mission to take their business to their customers.

“We have always thought of opening up our own branch here a couple years ago,” she said. “But I just did not feel that it was the right time, until now.”

Yesterday morning, Taitu’uga Kuini Leung Wai and Nino Stanley Fuimaono cut the ribbon, opening the shop’s doors to the public.

Pastor Segi Bee Leung Wai and Pastor Ruby Sabbath conducted the blessing.

“It is a wonderful opportunity especially in this establishment,” Tofilau said. “We have a lot of customers who have requested to us to have a branch here.”

She added that their approach was to make stationery, all their products and services accessible as well as convenient to their customers.

“We understand the hassle it is for a lot of customers who need supplies and stationery to drive all the way to town. But now that our shop here is opened we will be able to manage and tend to customers and businesses in this area.”

Preparations and renovations for the two-story building began early this week and within four days, S.S.A.B’s newest outlet was ready for opening. The store will be manned by six staff members and managed by Janet Faumuina.

To celebrate the milestone, the company is running a number of opening specials at Vaitele.

Tofilau and her husband Aumua Ming Leung Wai give all the glory to God and they acknowledge their families, friends, staff and supporters for their prayers and well wishes.
