More than a hundred mothers of the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa gathered at Malua yesterday for the first day of the meetings leading up to the church’s main conference next week.

The mothers consist of wives of elderly deacons; elderly ministers, church ministers and pensioners who are taking part in the Women’s Conference.

The first day of the conference saw the presentation of reports from various women’s Committees of the church.
