SAMOA 52-10 WALES

Eight tries. Yes, eight. Samoa have started the HSBC Paris Sevens with a bang, and playmaker Samoa Toloa was at the forefront of some great attacking play, bagging three tries by the final whistle.

Supporting scores from Falemiga Selesele, Alefosio Tapilli, Tila Mealoi, Alamanda Motuga, Siaosi Asofolau all added to the colossal scoreline.

Luke Treharne and Lloyd Lewis got the only tries for Wales in what was a disappointing start.
