EPC responds to Mr. Craig's concerns

Dear Editor,

EPC appreciates the opportunity to address Mr. Auga Farrel Craig's concerns, as outlined in his letter to the editor of the Samoa Observer, on Thursday 18th April 2024.

We value all our customers, including Mr. Farrel Craig, and strive to provide transparent and efficient service to meet their needs.

Regarding the upgrade request for the Falelauniu area, EPC confirms that it follows a standard process for such requests, which includes assessing the current power supply and demand.

While our current infrastructure meets the general demand, we acknowledge that Mr. Farrel Craig's business requires a higher load capacity. EPC conducted a survey and provided Mr. Farrel Craig with the cost for the required upgrade.

We also engaged with Mr. Farrel Craig to discuss his request for a discount on the upgrade cost. An arrangement was made based on his payment capability, and approval was granted for the upgrade work. It is important to clarify that, as per our standard procedure, payment is required before work can commence.

Despite our efforts to accommodate Mr. Farrel Craig's request, no payment has been received to date. EPC's doors are always open for further discussion, and we remain committed to finding a mutually beneficial solution.

We appreciate Mr. Farrel Craig's understanding of our processes and policies and look forward to resolving this matter amicably.

EPC
