Between the Lines

DISCIPLINE

There is a line between discipline and violence. A man was witnessed on Wednesday slapping the daylights out of his child for running to the car in an empty car park.

PUNISHMENT

A teenager peeping through windows at ladies in a neighbourhood was caught red-handed. Let’s just say that the teenager might think twice after some good old Samoan punishment was served.

SAFETY FIRST

Safety is very important. A delivery truck attendant tried getting out of the vehicle while it was still moving. The result was her almost coming under the truck had she not hit a parked vehicle.

BRAKES

Most bus accidents over recent years have been because of brake failures. It is about time, the aging buses are put out of operation and alternatives provided.

RED LIGHT

The law is for everyone even for speeding government vehicles. A government vehicle belonging to the department responsible for growing things sped through a red light as if they made the law.

SEVENS

Next week is the next leg of the World Sevens Series. Best of luck to the Manu Samoa sevens players who will be leaving the country in the weekend.
