Clyde Simamao, 27, Vaitele

“My thoughts on our game this morning against Greece had a huge change from our previous opening match with England as I saw determination and a well-structured team. We managed to make good set of plays that had been executed greatly to get us a huge lead on the scoreboard. I applaud the boys as they regathered from before to give such an impact especially to the many critics going on. As there is one more pool game against France we need to have that same spirit to win but don't underestimate them. Keep that same composure and just know that we are still behind them 200% supporting all the way wherever we may be. We can do great in this World Cup."

Asolelei Kirisimasi, 20, Aleipata Samusu

“To me, I want to say thank you to the coach. All the boys did great, no one is different from my point of view nothing is wrong. They just need to be strong for the next upcoming games for the sake of our country. They all did a great job I wasn’t picky with any of the players all 15 of them are all the same none of them are different from the others. All of them played well the beginning till the end of the game. I’m so happy with the results of the game this morning nothing is wrong everything is perfect."

Isitolo Ioane, 18, Siusega

“I feel happy, we finally won from Greece. And it’s so excited for me because we lost to England last week. With 15 of the team I was happy with 2 players and they are Jerome Luai and Brian Too. I was happy with the results of the game, nice performance also from the very beginning to the end of the game."

Atijoseph Falefia, 18, Gagaifo Lefaga

“All of have us have that kind of happiness if we win our games such as Manu Samoa also Toa Samoa is up with a win. I feel so happy and we thank our Heavenly Father for answering our prayers of our players for Toa Samoa game. My favorite player of the game was Joseph Sualii. The game was perfect when the boy’s performance was good."

Leina Spencer, 17, Vaitele-Fou

“Our boys did alright when I watched the Toa Samoa game this morning. I was felt super-duper happy that they won their game against Greece. It’s important for our country, also games that are near.
