Moataa, Laulii U-12 champions
The Vaimauga Region U-12 Cricket competition has concluded with Laulii Primary schools winning the boys division and Moataa Primary taking out the girls championships.
The tournament was held at the Garden Oval, Tuanaimato.
Both divisions fielded 11 schools, a small number of which had more than one team.
The results for the Boys division from Tuesday are as follows:

For the Girls division:
- Moataa Primary School B
- Letogo Primary School
- Fagalii Primary School
- Samoa Primary School
- Vaivase Primary School

- Vailima Primary School
- Apia Primary School
- Falefitu Primary School
- Moataa Primary School A
"The top two teams were announced in places but the rest are all [equally placed]," a cricket official told the Samoa Observer.
The Samoa International Cricket Association continues to host clinics for schools in all the regions of Samoa; their goal is to develop and make known the sport all around Samoa.
The cricket association's other programmes include a coaching session held in Lefaga, and other primary school clinics.
On Friday, they will be traveling to the Anoamaa region for a competition that was postponed last week due to poor weather
