Manusina is going to the 2026 Rugby World Cup after a 12-year absence after beating Madagascar 46 - 15 on Saturday in the WXV3 competition.

On their way to claiming one of the two spots for the World Cup, they also thrashed Fiji 45-17.

The Manusina XV head coach, Mata'afa Ramsey Tomokino mentioned last week that the results are from having time together and consistency in selections.

Mataafa mentioned that his team aims to inspire the people and uplift Samoa. Their hard work, efforts, and sweat have paid off.

It has also attracted a lot of Samoans, local and overseas who were at the stadium to cheer them on and some who were watching from the comfort of their homes.

The people of Samoa congratulated the girls on a job well done. A well deserved opportunity for Manusina XV after being shut out in the last two editions.
