B.B.E Vaiala, Tepatasi, Usoga Malie/Afega, and hosts SCB Apia Maroons have confirmed their spots for the semi-finals of the Kings of Rugby on Saturday.

After a challenging two days, these teams have come out on top.

SCB Apia Maroons captain Ionatana Tino Su'a admitted that their quarter-final match against Tamauli was hard. He understands that Tamauli was not here to play for fun, they also wanted to win the tournament.

It was a heated match that also led to some altercations between players.

"We do not take this lightly as we are the host team and it's our 100-year celebration and we wanted to win it. We gave it our all," he said.

"But in terms of our match today, glory goes back to the man above for his guidance because without him we wouldn't have ended today on a high note.

"Even though we have a few injured players, we are safe and well. We trust our players and with our four weeks of preparations towards this tournament, we are ready for anything.

"We just need to work on our set pieces, line-outs and scrums. I believe the game tomorrow (Saturday) will not be easy but we put our trust in God and our team."
