Tag tournament gets underway

Often referred to as the Hong Kong Sevens of Tag Football, this tournament promises world-class action that will captivate fans and players alike.

Laumatiamanu Ringo Purcell, Minister of Sports and Culture, officially opened the 6th Digicel Teuila International Tag Tournament at Apia Park, setting the stage for an unforgettable competition.
President of Samoa Tag Incorporated Fa'aofonuu JP Leota in a press release has clarified more about the tournament in terms of the number of participants.
"With 40 teams competing from Australia, New Zealand, Pago Pago, Savai’i, and local clubs across Samoa over 700 participants have registered for this thrilling event. This is not just a tournament; it’s a celebration of camaraderie and sportsmanship that brings together athletes from all corners to showcase their talent on an international stage."
