Bank South Pacific (B.S.P.) customers can now enjoy banking in the comfort of their new branch located in the recently opened Samoa National Provident Fund (S.N.P.F.) Building at Salelologa, Savai'i.

The new branch is located close to the Salelologa wharf and within the vicinity of the Salelologa market, providing easy access to the local community as well as the travelling public between Upolu and Savai'i.

With the recent opening of Samoa's international borders, the new location would also be ideal for tourists who often shop at the market for Samoan local products.

“The decision to relocate the bank to new facilities reflects the growth of our business in Savai'i and reaffirms B.S.P.’s vision of being the leading financial service provider in Samoa and the Pacific," Taituuga Maryann Lameko-Vaai, B.S.P. General Manager Offshore Branches, said in a statement.

"Customer Service is at the centre of our value proposition, and investing in the new facilities will provide our increasing customers in Savai'i with the best banking experience."

The total cost to fully furnish the new branch was WST$370,600 and was completed by Schwartz Construction Limited with Le Vikz Consulting as the Project Manager.

The opening of the new branch was officiated by Rev. Soti Roma of the E.F.K.S Lalomalava church and was attended by the Minister of Justice and Courts Administration, Matamua Seumanu Vasati Sili Pulufana as well as the Savai'i business community and customers.

The new branch provides a full range of banking services including MoneyGram, lending services, savings, foreign exchange and ATM for the convenience of its customers as well as visiting families from overseas and tourists.

In addition to these services B.S.P. offers 42 B.S.P. Agents Banking merchants, 28 ATMs and over 350 EFTPOS machines around Upolu and Savai'i.
