New chapter as Letogo welcomes new Reverend
A new chapter started at the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa (C.C.C.S.) at Letogo when they welcomed their new Church Minister on Friday.
Reverend Ulatifa Leuluaialii and his wife Taugatala Leuluaialii were welcomed by members of the congregation during a church service which was well attended by friends and families of Rev. Leauluaialii and his wife.
The heavy rain did not dampen the spirits of the congregation and their new spiritual parents.
Rev. Leuluaialii and his wife had commenced their studies at the Malua Theological College in 2016, and graduated in 2019.
He told the Samoa Observer he was thankful and felt privileged to be called to serve at Letogo.
"I feel happy and thankful to the Lord for the calling," Rev. Leuluaialii said.
"And I am thankful to the Lord and also to the Church here at Letogo for their calling and accepting [us] to the congregation here," he said.
Facing challenges throughout his studies at the Malua Theological College, he reiterated that he had relied on the Spirit of the Lord because He is the one who gives everything, and enabled them to do their work.
The Reverend and his wife look forward to working with the congregation in their new journey. He said they would look to continue the work that had already been done and will seek God's guidance for whatever else he desires for the church at Letogo.
He thanked everyone who attended.
