The Manumalo Baptist School held a graduation ceremony on Wednesday afternoon to celebrate the achievements and efforts of the students through the academic year.

The graduation ceremony was held at the Congregational Christian Church Samoa (C.C.C.S) Hall at Sogi on Wednesday.

The students and staff of the school had performed dance, songs and had received their diplomas while parents, families, and friends attended to witness the student's achievements.

The Principal of the Manumalo Baptist School, Tina Fata, was happy about the student's achievements throughout the academic year.

"As we do this every year, anything that is done yearly [...] you sometimes get tired of doing it but with Manumalo we are never tired of doing it. because it's a special time. We offer everything for the kids. With the eighth grade they've come a long way because, with the most of these graduates, the eighth-grade graduates, they started in our preschool," Mrs. Fata told the Samoa Observer on Wednesday.

"Now they have graduated eighth grade so it's a joy for us to see them."

"Their preschool life has ended, now they have graduated and got a diploma from Manumalo. Students have now graduated from the eighth grade and received their diploma from Manumalo. They are moving up to new stages of life."

Mrs. Fata revealed that in this year's eighth grade graduating class, there are 38 students while last year and the class of 2019 had 43 graduating students.

"We are expecting more to come back next year because the year 7 right now it's almost 30 so we are expecting everybody to come back. As a matter of fact a lot of students have registered already for next year," she said.

Mrs. Fata praised the Lord, thanking God for bringing the students to school all year and having successfully arrived at the end of the year.

She said that everything they do, they have hope in the Lord, as he is the leader and the one that protects the lives of the children.
